This week I received a exciting custom order for a well padded, messenger bag style, MacBook Air case. My customer requested an “urban, yet earthy style” but gave me broad creative license, which is always nice! He requested a fully adjustable and removable strap, and a slim shape.
So, here it is…
The front flap is made from water resistant black canvas and features forest green corduroy and black leather!
The outside front panel (backside identical) made from the same black canvas and green corduroy.
The interior features a custom (and hella padded) compartment sized for a 13″ MacBook Air. The fit is snug and perfect. The rest of the interior offers enough room for power cord/adapter, a few journals or novels, phone, keys. etc. There is also a large pocket in the larger compartment for extra organization.
Each panel of the bag (front, back, bottom, and interior divider) is well padded to protect the MacBook.
I pulled these buckles from a retired rock climbing harness (fellow climbers will recognize the Black Diamond logo). They are super reliable, and will not let that strap slip even a little bit, so this bag is great for hiking, bike travel, and the like. The strap is 100% adjustable and can even be removed for packing into a larger bag or suitcase.
